With a crystal clear win against the team of Aris (90-53), Panathinaikos won the Cup of Greece for 15th time in the history of the club. MVP of the match was Ramel Carry with 17 points and 4 three-point shots.

Another Cup for Dimitris Diamantidis also who achieved another record in his career by reaching 10 appearances in Greek Cup finals with 80% success. In tha same time with his 7 points (6 assist) that he scored he reached the 4th position in the list of all time scorers of the Greek Cup.

After the end of the game Dimitris shared his happiness but he also mentioned that he needs to be down to earth for the tough continuation of the team. "It is not a good nor a bad sign the fact that we won the first tilte of the season. We shall continue and go for the next games. It is something beautiful, but from tomorrow we will focus on the Championship and our Euroleague games. We should be healthy and everything will be fine."
